One Extreme to Another (Beds)
Remember how I complained Loki kept destroying his beds? Yeah, those were the good old days. In Pets At Home today, I saw a Ruff n Tuff bed, his other ones have all been fleece, so I figured this would be better, and it was only £3 more than the last bed I got him, so seemed worth it. He loves it. He loves it TOO MUCH. He spent about 20 minutes humping the bed until he was panting, and then I decided enough is enough, he was going on a long walk in the cold rain to cool off . My mum was complaining that he needs to be neutered, hormones, etc., and I told her it's probably just because he hasn't had his usual amount of exercise the past couple of days, so that plus a new bed means he was very excited. She disagreed. I came back from an hour and a half walk and he's completely ignoring his bed now point one to Team Tara and Loki on the anti-neutering front, I think.
Still, it was pretty annoying to see him throwing himself around the cage to hump the life out of the bed we've now named Mrs Loki

Re: One Extreme to Another (Beds)
Well, he's currently asleep on it with no more humping, so fortunately it looks like it was just because he needed a good long walk

He actually woke up not long ago just to lick the bed for a few minutes, and then went back to sleep. I'm really just...grossed out, it's like he's fallen in love with it . Least he hasn't destroyed it. Yet.
