Staffy sensative stomach
In a nut shell
My 2 year old staffy has allergy problems so we switched him to a raw diet or chicken, beef and tripe mince.
No he tends to vomit twice a day, always after eating. The allergies have disappeared since we switched to raw food but he has started to vomit a lot more. I don't think my staffy can stomach raw food, but it defo helps his allergies and his appetite
Any suggestions??

When you changed to raw did you introduce the meats one at a time?

Re: Staffy sensative stomach
Started with chicken mince, then beef mince, tripe mince,
Now I'm feeding 1/4 tripe mince to 3/4 beef or chicken mince

I was just wondering if he might be intolerant to one of the meats?

Re: Staffy sensative stomach
Not sure, he is vomiting 30min - 60mins after eating. May look into a sensative stomach dry food diet. He loves the raw food but he has vomited 4 times today, and the vomiting seems to be getting more often. He is active, fit, and has a great appetite otherwise

Re: Staffy sensative stomach
Definitely nip to the vets I'd say. Ledger (nicely for me) doesn't appear to process tripe too well whereas other mince he has half a pack per meal if it has tripe he has to have a third and a duck wing else we get gravy at the other end. He rarely vomits tho unless he eats something nasty in the park and again that is usually almost instant

Re: Staffy sensative stomach
How long before/after exercise does he eat? How much bone/offal do you feed?
