Upset stomach
Hi,
Our blue Staffy, Otis, is 15 months now and we're struggling to find him a food that settles his stomach.
He was initially on James Wellbeloved puppy kibble, then science plan and just now he's on Wainwrights salmon.
All of them have been fine to start with (with the possible exception of JWB) but after a few weeks or months he starts to be very loose! We've tried taking him completely off of treats to see if that was affecting him.
Any ideas/suggestions for a food that won't upset him?
Thanks

Re: Upset stomach
i would take him off all dog food , try him with just chicken and rice ....my dog has an intolerance to maize/corn he was fine for a year and then the same he was just getting upset stomach , he is now on science plan DD salmon and rice , so it could be something like this as maize is in near on all dog foods and treats

Re: Upset stomach
I used to have a real prob with Moo, RC veterinary control diet helped and also then feeding a purely fish diet, JWB did give her loose stalls, and she is now on Fish4Dogs, which has just recently changed, but tbh I would still reccomend it as she has firm poo's on it, although she is a little bored so I add some RC into it again. xx

Re: Upset stomach
I'd consider a fish-based food - fish4dogs, or another that's been mentioned on here recently, fishmongers dog food.
Either that or consider a raw diet?

I'd try taking him off treats first if you don't want to change food again.

Re: Upset stomach
Ive been watching Spud, he is now 9 months old and there ws no change in his diet. He has a runny stomach for the last 10 days but there is nothing wrong with his behavior or eating habits. Can anybody tell me what the problem might be.
