dodgey tummy and feeding advice
Hey
So weve been on raw now for over a week, i picked up some natures menu country hunter nuggets (its veen just the normal complete nuggets before) and on the website i says about 30 nugets a day for her size but the actual bag says like 54!!!!
Also this morning she got up and went and sniffed her dinner thn went to door so i too her out and she pooped, so upstairs we went and she lifted her beef rib out and chewed tht a bit then again ran to door soup and down another 3 times and hr tummy is not good at all. Then she was sick inside! No idea why, could it be gettin adjusted to raw or somethin? This is the first time she ignored a raw meal. I hope its not her bein fussy with it now

That doesnt sound like adjusting more like something has upset her or a bug. Just remind me how old she is? I'd be tempted to starve her for the rest of the day. Is she drinking water?

Re: dodgey tummy and feeding advice
Shes 14 months. Shes not a massive water drinker, my mum phoned me to say shes looking for dinner now but i said no.
I think the sick was just cos she ate the bits of bone too fast cos it was bits of tht.
I cant think of anythin wen out walks tht shes eaten. I think maybe yest was the first timeshes had the rabbit nuggets so could it be tht?
Confused with tht feeding guide now

Personally I wouldn't feed 'nuggets' . Things like heart, tongue, offal, chicken etc would be much better for her. I've seen those natures diet nuggets in PAH and wouldn't recommend them to anyone

You said she's been on raw just over a week? And you are already feeding beef and rabbit?
It is advised to very slowly introduce meats into the diet one at a time, waiting a week after a new meat for their tummy to settle and stools to return to normal before adding the next. This may be your problem.
We started with easy meats like chicken and turkey and didn't go on to beef or rabbit until about 8 weeks on raw.
Bane struggled with the bone at the start too and would sometimes get bits stuck when trying to go to the toilet or sick bits back up. We just cut down on the bone until he adjusted.
