Feeding advice

Hey guys chaos is 19 weeks now I'm wondering how many times a day I should feed him and how much, he has wainwrights dry mixed with the wainwrights trays. Sometimes he cheekily try's to eat his own pooh. ( yes he's fully up to date with worming). Cheers

Percy is just a week older than chaos, I feed Percy 3 x daily at the mo, aiming to reduce to 2 x daily at 24 weeks, we also feed wainwrights dry kibble (but don't add any wet food) I just go off the feeding guidelines on the pack and divide it by 3. so I'm not sure if you need to reduce the kibble slightly if your adding wet food too..?

as Lou says it should be 3 meals a day cutting down to 2 at 6 months and go by the guidelines on the food and adjust accordingly depending on his look

I did 3 times a day until 6 months on both mine then twice daily with one third at mid day and two thirds in the evening. Sometimes after a workout i mix in some raw beef mince or sardines on the evening . Im a bit anal about feeding as i think it helps with training. All food is weighed out and they have to work for it. I leave them to eat and both come to find me afterwards and fuss like mad as if to say thankyou. For me feeding is one of the most powerfull training methods for a dog, being a provider gets you there respect

Yes, 3 times a day until 6 months, then down to 2.

I can't comment on the amount because I feed raw, but if you go by the pack guidelines & then adjust according to whether he's putting on weight or losing it!
