Took loki for a walk today and we have been.taken him off the lead, he's been so good, coming back when I call etc, I've been introducing him to many dogs, he seems to snap in their faces sometimes and he also gets so excited and can't calm down, I was wondering what tips I can do to help him calm down around other doggies.

If you make any introductions to other dogs while they are both on the leads, try to get him to sit while they do their Hello's, I'm sure any older dogs will soon let him know if he is being a pain.

Yeah he's been told a few times and most of the time.it's always on a lead, I've been trying but he just gets so excited he can't calm down, and then won't walk.properly.

Do you use treats or distractions like a ball or toy? The "look at me" command also works well to get them to calm down while meeting new friends Smile
