Pet Insurance Renewal
Posted this in the rant and rave section also, cos I was fuming at the time!!!
Have been with PDSA insurance since Alfie was a puppy and at £14 per month thought I was getting a not bad deal, however PDSA is now underwritten by Zenith and low and behold the policy has now gone up to £29.86. So when phoning them today to ask how on earth they came by such a hike, I basically got nowhere.
So given the fact Alfie had his Mastcell Tumour removed in January, I take it I would require to declare that as a pre-existing medical condition to which some insurers won't cover me for should anything of a similar treatment be required in future.
Does anyone of any insurance company that will cover pre-existing medical conditions?
Regards
Dee
PS BTW Alfie is back to his normal self and is none the wiser of his op in January.

Re: Pet Insurance Renewal
Hi Dee, insurance can be a nightmare to say the least, I don't know of any that would cover pre existing conditions but might be worth having a look on line or even emailing some to find out if they would do it. Also might be worth having a word with your vet to see if they can suggest anyone.
