EGGS-raw or cooked Empty EGGS-raw or cooked

I've been looking in search; of replies on eating raw eggs. But I am still getting this unsettling feel that - is it really OK !

I know it sounds silly because all the replies have come from staffy lover's who only want the best for their dogs, so please forgive me if I want your thought's on it again.

Lucy is on kimble in the morning with the occasional grated cheese or scrambled egg (no milk is added) on top.
Afternoon meal is raw mince
Teatime - Kimble with the odd day sardines.

Now this is where I get a bit  confused - I've read that a boiled egg given whole, is much safer than given raw; surely this would kill a lot of the goodness don't you think?

My gut tell me to add a raw egg to the mince, she is 8 months old so I'm thinking 3 eggs a week.
Does this make sense? confused

If the eggs have the lion mark its good to give raw. it means all poultry must have been vaccinated against Salmonella and a little while back they tested 28,000 eggs and didnt find a trace in any of them.
People are still worried because of the bad rap eggs got in the 80's but now with the mark they are perfectly fine.

I've just checked for the lion and it is on the egg box.
Lucy had a raw egg yesterday mixed in with raw mince without the shell and she loved it!
Sunday she will get the whole egg - probably cracked in her food bowl. I'll leave out giving her the uncracked egg until she is outside (I don't want my wall/floor looking like a abstract painting )  Laughing

My Flo will sometimes miss her breakfast as I think she gets bored with kibble so will be trying a raw egg on top just to see if it livens it up for her  Smile
