Rain rain go away!!

Hi all

Just wondered if anyone else has a problem getting there beloved SBT to go out for a walk when it's raining?
Zara hides from me when I get the lead out if it's raining..... I'm missing our long fun walks. We have just been popping out for brief walks in between the down pours .....

Glad I'm not alone.... I'm quite prepared to get out there in me waterproofs... She's having none of it!!!

Oh yes!   Daisy is a nightmare, when you do get her out of the door she walks really slowly behind me!

Peppa hates the rain if I make her go out in the rain before she's out the door she gives me the "are you for real mum" look just to let me know she disapproves. Tough life x

Yep, same here! She won't even go out for a wee in the rain, we have to take her out with an umbrella covering her or she'll go on the kitchen floor when you go to bed!!! I usually take her out with another do when it's raining and he doesn't mind it as much cause she's too busy playing, but if it's heavy rain she sits down every few steps and looks miserable

If Rocky looks out the back door and it's raining he will not go outside in the garden, however he is not bothered when it's raining while out on a walk, strange doggy   

Hi Dyson definitely does not like rain, we got as far as the garden gate then he sat down and refused to move   

Ralph won't even go in the garden for 'wee wees' if it's raining, unless of course I go too. He's not stupid. The times I've been stood out there in my dressing gown in the pouring rain telling him to hurry up!!   

Darcy hates the rain too.

Ha ha their so funny aren't they, Gordon will winge at the window wanting to go out then when I open the door he looks at me like it's my fault all this wet stuff's coming down!! walk back sulking   

Oh yes same here with Vin I find myself running and jumping up and down like a loon with a silly happy voice, tryng to encourage him out! the neighbours must think I am mad!...........they would be right

i get that look from Lady as well :-)
and she refuses to go out .. but once 'encouraged' out ..
she runs about like a loony-tune ..

yesterday we arrived at her favourite walkies spot .. Ilkley moor
just as we stopped .. the rain started ..
she jumped out of the car ( winge wine cry 'let me out Now!' )
then promptly jumps back in under cover ..
then led out on her lead .. close car door .. 'n let her off-lead ..
she starts running about like mad .. as if it's a game to outrun the rain drops :-) .. barks 'n acts as if it's chase-play-fun-time .. and runs and runs and bounces through the heather .. obviously having a good time .. 'n no problem taking time to do her 'business' either ..

why she can't go out into the yard at home .. when it's raining ..
'n do her 'business' is beyond me .. .. .. pee pads be a good invention :-)

sidenote: yesterday .. as she were running from the raindrops ..
she were about 50 yards facing a high stone wall .. 'n as she were barking .. she got an echo .. which she obviously thought were another dog ( her twin? ) .. cause she'd bark .. then bark at the echo ..
was funny to watch :-)

Loki stands there in the garden looking at me with his tail between his legs, shaking.....makes me feel awful, he wont even entertain going in the rain... little bugger

"Yep" that's the same with Lucy. We are even considering getting a carport at the side of the house so we don't have to push her out of the door so she can go to the loo!   

Looks Marquez is the odd one out here. He will intentionally go out and stand in the rain which wouldn't be too bad if he stayed outside but since he lives inside we end up with wet dog and mud tracked inside
