Rain

Sitting listening to the rain and thinking about toilet training Ruby, what happens if they don't want to go to the toilet in the rain? Or does it not bother them normally?

kaiser use to try and not go out but use to pick him up and shut the door then he would go quick so he could get back in worked everytime

When i started house training Dime i would take her outside and use the words "Go on" and give her gentle praise when she was done. Just recently tho i had a similar issue when it was raining she wouldn't budge from the back door.. so i just picked her up took her to her "spot" and said the magic words, i stayed there in the rain with her, she kinda sat there for a min looking miserable and wet but eventually sniffed about and did her business... just takes little more patience lol She is not so fussed about the rain anymore

as every one else is saying just pick them up and wait with them and they soon learn the quicker they go the quicker they get back in the dry.
my freind didnt incorage her staffy out in the rain now if she rain she just goes on the floor without given any signs she now three.
so get the training in sooner rather than later.

Cairo hates going out in the rain,but you just have to persevere with them.They soon learn the quicker they go,the quicker they get back in lol
