how often are you/did you feeding your 6 month old pup?

Hi guys, just wondered how often you fed/are feeding your 6 month old puppy?

I thought 3 meals a day intil 8 months (only know this from the Ceasar Milan book) but it seems some of you feed less what do you find works folks? Smile

Hiya.

From 6 months I fed my boy 2 meals a day, one at 7am, last at 6pm and he's doing really well. I know some might say keep to 3 a day for a while, you just need to find what works for your dog.

Got Moo at about 8 months ish and she had been on 2 before I got her too x

thanks guys wrote another thread lol but basically in 3 weeks Milo will be with my folks and their 2 JRT's who are fed twice a day so I'd like to switch to that seems many of you are doing 2 feeds at that age, defo. see how it works for us and our boy, just embarking on raw so feel like I want to do things the right way from the start iykwim?!?! Dempsey's been on 2 meals since he was about 5 or 6 months old (I can't remember exactly) & he's fed raw as well.

Bruno is 5 months and i just changed him to 2 meals a day from monday just gone, so far it seems to be working, but i have treated him to charcoal biscuits today, I think i may give him 2 or 3 of those a day, he has taken a lilking to them Big Grin

You just have to do what is best for you pup Big Grin

2 meals it is lol! Chicken wings for breakfast and beef mince for tea on tommorrows menu <:-P rolling on the floor

I got it....eventually. I thought it was some new age way of feeding, then I got it sussed rolling on the floor

Roxy is 5 1/2 months and is on 2 meals a day too. Doing fine with it Smile
