Lola is malting like ive never seen before, surprised she has any hair left. My concerne is that she has got a bald patch on her side about the size of a pee, is this normal when they are malting?

Generally there is no visible hair loss when they are malting. I would keep an eye on it and if starts to get bigger pop her to the vets x

Last year Daisy seemed to malt really heavily for ages! This year ( so far!) she hasn't been too bad!

Mine blow out..twice a year for about a month.... hair everywhere  doh
Are you grooming? could be that youve taken out some guard hairs in a spot. did the same with marley when i got a shedding blade and he had a hole in his neck hair for about 6 months lol.
Its a common conversation topic in the park at the moment, everyone is moaning about there dogs hair everywhere. I opend a can of beans last night and there was a sodding dog hair staring at me before i could get them in the pan...how do they do that  Surprised

Haha Nath we always joke about this! It's like their hair was in the can before you opened it!
Luckily Bane doesn't seem to molt much at all now, but he did quite bad when we started with a new shampoo when he was younger...maybe something like this has affected it?

In Zeus's first year, he was shedding alot of hair, all year round it seemed like. He hasn't been too bad this year though.
