Re: PUPPY MALTING HER COAT
This weather's been bad for dogs! I think most of them are moulting badly right now, I know Dempsey is. Just be thankful you don't have a thick coated breed!

Could you tell us what you are feeding her on, how much and how often ? Diet can make huge changes to the condition of a dogs coat. Just hold off on the buzzers for a while yet.

I've got some electric hair clippers & there've been times when I've been sorely tempted..........

Get her off Bakers asap! It's awful stuff - full of additives that cause hyperactivity & allergies! Please have a look through some of the better ones & change her off Bakers.......

You can add PAH's own brand (Wainwrights) to that.

Re: PUPPY MALTING HER COAT
That probably explains a lot of the hair loss, Bakers is full of rubbish tbh. James Welbeloved is also a fairly good one if you have any skin issues. It's hypoallergenic and also good for upset tummies.

Full time breeders & they feed Bakers? They should be ashamed of themselves!
If you switch to something else I think you'll find that behaviour will improve (possibly dramatically) as well!

Bakers is the devil. It should be banned. Along with pedigree chum.

Re: PUPPY MALTING HER COAT
Ruby is moulting tons too, over the past week she seems to have gotten so much worse. Shes on james wellbeloved puppy and it seems a pretty good food, though she hates the lamb flavour so she just has the turkey flavour, the kibbles are slightly smaller in the turkey one, shes going onto junior next time though

Re: PUPPY MALTING HER COAT
Dora is also malting loads at the moment. Glad to hear other peoples doggies are too as I was starting to worry a little.
Dora has James Well Beloved too.

Re: PUPPY MALTING HER COAT
I changed Ralph very soon after getting him, from Pedigree puppy to Orijen puppy. He`s really good, not hyper, and we not hit the chewing stage yet, but sure we will soon. He`s also moulting at the mo.

Re: PUPPY MALTING HER COAT
Saffy is on raw and isn't moulting at all.....must be a fluke!
She is having fish4dogs puppy kibble for training treats, as I got a sample from their site to have a nose. Seems to like them but she's only just started having them, but lots of people recommend fish4dogs on here.
