Random alarm

Chilling at home after work and I got a call from the alarm company to say that (the Gallery where I work) alarm has been set off, and cause I'm the second closet (ie 3 mins away) needed to go and check it out. Took Moo as its 'our time' and when we got to the door (the alarm belting out) she was stood so solidly and too attention. I unlocked and took her in, unset the alarm but then had to check the building (on 3 levels). Just said to her "find them" and she was sniffing out the Gallery like a police dog! Never seen anything like it. She doesn't know the building but just seemed to know exactly where to go and was actually 'searching' for someone! It was amazing, know fear just actually looking!

Anyway just thought I'd share cause it was awesome!! She is a more of a mutt I could ever give her credit for, and I felt like I was out of some police/camera/action program

But seriously, surely the police should check out the alarms, what of there was someone in there trying to steal art and they were armed? They really shouldn't be sending a young woman in by herself, that's mad.

Been proper miserable all day here, grey and nasty! I just have to slap people who say we need it!

We've had rain all day too but we really did need it cos it's been absolutely sweltering here the last couple of days. Poor Charlie doesn't like the heat - he hasn't been eating as much and been flopped out on the sofa most of the time.
