Random
Bit of a random post....The last few days daisy has started scrapping her legs behind her after she has a wee! I've seen other dogs do it but I've had her nearly 6 months and she has never done it before, not once.... It just seems a really random thing to start doing?? I keep laughing everytime she does it
The other day she spent the day with my friends retriever Bailey (who is her new best friend!) but I've checked with her and he doesn't do it although she says polly the cat does, surely she's not picked this up from a cat?!
Anyone got any ideas why she has started doing this?

Re: Random
She is totally normal. She might just have taken that long to start or maybe it was part of her settling in process. Pigglette took about that long to start doing it too. Don't think she learned from the cat, just an instinct to cover up.

Haha no i'm pretty sure she didn't learn it from the cat, although would be funny if she had!! Glad to hear she's not the only one who just suddenly started doing it, ah I hope it means she is fully settled now She was a rescue so suppose it takes time for them to stop worrying about being abandoned again

Re: Random
Mine was as well (she was 3 and was not comfortable with people at first). She has settled now and for her it was part of the process! Enjoy her!

Re: Random
Its not covering her pee up, more like spreading it around to let other dogs know she's been there!!!! A territorial thing.

This is something Rocky does too, I'm sure he tries to cover me in dirt and bury me alive.
