Sudden change of behaviour Empty Sudden change of behaviour

Bruno is nearly 3 and a half.
His behaviour is changing.

We walk to my daughter's school every day, but since they went back on wednesday , his behaviour toward other dogs has changed. We saw a young staffy on saturday and he was fine with it, then saw it wednesday and he was barking at it. On the school run this week he has barked at every dog he's seen and he has also growled at a dog this morning, and also he used to ignore bicycles but before and this week he tries to pull me towards the bicycles. Now we are talking about a very friendly dog toward other dogs and a dog who also used to ignore bicycles.

Now i have been told that staffies get to a age when they get more confident in their own bodies, do think this is what is happening ?

I think from now on i will be keeping him away from other dogs and pull him in when a bicylcle goes passed which is going to hard work as alot of the kids cycle to school

Hello! I'm assuming from your post that the children have been off school for a few weeks? May be something as simple as a change of routine! My dog always goes backwards in behaviour if her routine changes, it's quite common. Has he ever done anything like this before? Nothing has scared him?

A behavural change can happen but is more common around the two year range. It could just be a change in routine. I'd go back to basics and try walking him alongside an older dog if possible
