My poor dutchy
Hi all I have an 18 month old staffy girl called Dutch. Normally a bit of a nutter, always bounding around and loves nothing more than sitting on laps and licking faces.
She has been her normal self all morning. Then very suddenly she become very lethargic and weak, she's acting like she has been told off (tail between legs, ears back, eyes look sad).
I'm having to help her to get up and down off the sofa for cuddles, my mother come round for a visit earlier and she just sat there, normally she greets when people come round. She has no vomiting or diarrheoa, she is eating and drinking a little but not as much as usual.
I'll be taking her to the vets tomorrow if she doesn't perk up by morning. She has never been like this before.
I'm slightly concerned because she was due for some vaccinations a few weeks ago but just haven't had time to take her as I've just had a baby and my 4 year old is off school, I just hope she hasn't picked anything up, I'd never forgive myself.
I feel so helpless, nothing is cheering her up, I've palpated her body and she doesn't appear to be in any pain. She has took herself to her bed and is just lay there looking really sorry for herself.
Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be or has this happened to anyone elses staff?
Thanks in advance.

Re: My poor dutchy
Flo has done this in the past. I think they can just feel off colour sometimes, a bit like we do. As she's eating and more importantly drinking, I would wait until tomorrow.. Hopefully she will be back to her normal full off beans self.

Re: My poor dutchy
were her vaccinations just her booster shots,if so a few weeks late should'nt matter i would think, they do have off days just like us,take her for a check over with your vet tomorrow, least it will put your mind at rest,it is horrible to see them so quiet when normally their running around like luns,do let us know how she gets on
