Would you use an indoor exercise facility?
Your opinion on an indoor exercise facility please
Hi Everyone
I wondered if I might draw on your opinions please? I'm looking at starting a small Business which would provide an indoor exercise facility for dogs, around 1200 sq ft. My idea is that you can then exercise your dog when its raining or perhaps you need to do recall training, or have an anti social or similar.
I'm worried about the financial commitments as I have no collateral to start up with, so I wanted to know if this is something you guys would consider using?
Thanks in advance for your input

Re: Your opinion on an indoor exercise facility please
i bet their could be an market for something like this but it's not something i would be interested in it
Re: Your opinion on an indoor exercise facility please
I'd be more interested if it had agility equipment for example, as my dog is antisocial and can't go to group training classes, but I'd love to do agility with her in a private indoor setting. But other than that, I just tend to walk her in quiet areas

Would you only have one dog in there at a time or multiples ? My dog can also be nervous around other dogs he doesn't know so maybe wouldn't get much out of it.

Re: Your opinion on an indoor exercise facility please
Like Kathy asked, would it be one dog at a time for "anti social" or would there be separate sections for those?
£10hr would be better, considering outside is free

It's a good idea, maybe check on insurance too, this may effect your prices.

Re: Your opinion on an indoor exercise facility please
for me it would be a godsend. no prey to chase and being able to off lead in a safe enviroment ie i can get them back would be great. I dont mind rain, wind, cold etc as thats part and parcel of owning a dog but a safe enviroment for them to run around in would be great.
the only reason i voted yes but not for £20 is that i couldnt afford it, at that price it would be a treat every now and then.

Re: Your opinion on an indoor exercise facility please
Thanks for the feedback guys, it would be exclusive use only - eg you book a slot and only you use the facility for that slot, I would put agility in as Beau, my deaf girl, is currently going to agility, so it would be great for her too.
Sadly finding a unit big enough in my area which would allow me to charge £10 per hour is a big challenge!
Thanks everyone for your thoughts, it's good to have an idea from fellow staffie owners
