Annoyed
Roxy and Vinny have been outside playing in the garden this morning as normal. The last few mornings there's been a squeeky woof in the distance that Rox has barked back at but I don't usually let her bark for long. Went to get her a few minutes ago and some little rocks came flying over my wall from the building next door Now I have a whole new level of paranoia - what if it hit the dogs; what if there's poison; what if they swallow them

Re: Annoyed
Would it be possible to have a word with the owners of the building next door regarding the throwing of missiles into your property.

Re: Annoyed
I don't think so, Kathy: it's a complex of large homes within a gated estate and the adjoining wall is really high, so I can't see over it to see exactly where it came from. But these complexes all have estate agencies who manage them, so I'm going to find out who the agency is and try and take it from there.
I did see that they came from over that wall, since one landed right at my feet and another just went over my head. Fortunately I think fast where Rox and Vin are concerned and ran to take one out of Vin's mouth and pick the rest up.

I like the idea of keeping a camera handy. We've always talked about putting cctv in and when we do, I'll also make sure one camera faces that wall

May be an idea to contact your own agent too, just so it is recorded, just in case anything worse happens, heaven forbid it does.

Re: Annoyed
Ah nothing yet I'm afraid but I know agencies are always super slow at responding. My OH who is normally 100 times more paranoid than I, said let's hope it was a stupid builder or gardener walking past the wall being an idiot. I do hope so, but I will certainly pursue and keep you posted.
What I may do tomorrow morning is take the laptop into the garden and work for a bit to keep an eye on that wall. It's just a bit nippy in the mornings now

Re: Annoyed
I really should've thought quicker and shouted! My first quick thought though was to get the stone out of Vinny's mouth as he went straight to investigate, and then get both of them inside so I could investigate.

That's terrible I was in the park once with my staffy on his leash and some stupid junkie starts yelling at me to get out of the park because he has kids in a pram on the other side! My dogs a big sook too, some people just have no idea I hope you get this sorted. Obviously dogs will bark there's no stopping it 100%!
