Barney 2nd time off lead (Rant)

Took Barney to the park yesterday and today for first time recall and off lead training. So impressed. Never went further than 20yds from me and recall 100%. Amazing, under no illusions that it will continue lol.
Met lots of Dogs and smile every time one approaches at the amazing pose\shape\posture he assumes when a dog approaches despite his young age.

However, Barney's recall appears far better than other more mature dogs who's lazy eyed tosser owners, if they attempted to recall their dogs at all, done so with a couldn't care less attitude once their dog was getting to the pest stage. I just know that when Barney reaches his physical peak at around three years old that these same owners will be recalling their dogs as if their daughters life depended on it before their dog gets within 50 yards.

When the owner eventually managed to cover the 200 yard distance he had allowed his dog to stray to recover his dog he got a real earful from me as to the responsibility of dog ownership, the extra steps and effort that Staffordshire owners make to ensure the reputation behaviour of our dogs is acceptable to ignorant arseholes like him that would scream blue murder if his out of control dog was attacked by a Stafford. He walked off very sheepishly with his dog on the lead.

To be honest they probably won't! These people just let their dogs run up to anyone! Daisy is always on the lead and we still get them!

Although Toot's has good recall, haven't dared to try off lead near other dogs. She's so friendly, but I'm terrified she'll be attacked.
