Digging disaster!
Koda is nearly 6 mths and loves to dig! He has unfortunately now gone too far & dug the termite guard protection system from underneath the house (see pic below), how he hasn't got poisoned I'll never know ! We are at our wits end with it, we're in a rental and this will literally cost us thousands to have re-installed. He is home alone during the day while we're at work (which is where we think the problem is as he doesn't do this on weekends when we're home) but we have no choice but to go to work (both full-time) - this has been the case since we got him at 8 weeks, and we're not comfortable getting a walker in to walk/play with him while we're not there, we live semi-rural so friends/family are not an option. Open to any other suggestions, please ? HELP !!

Re: Digging disaster!
Hiya! Is there any reason you're not happy to try a walker? Having worked full time and leaving Biscuit for 8+ hours a day for the first 2 years that I had her I have definitely seen a huge improvement in her behaviours since cutting the hours back. It's not healthy for a dog to be on their own for that many hours a day, and at his age I'm truly surprised that he hasn't done more damage. Totally understand your predicament, and people have to work, but really think you should consider a walker, in England they're all CRB checked and insured with references.

Re: Digging disaster!
Oh they can be little buggers at times
Is it possible for you to keep him in a fence in bit?
Lula has a thing for digging we now have 3 muddy holes in the garden. Then she thinks its fun to run at me and jump all over me I`ll be glad when the warmer dryer weather here. The ground is so wet at the moment
Last week i went for a shower and she chewed my phone charger which was plugged in at the time. I was glad she was not hurt but amazed she did not get a electric shock.

Oh no Koda >.> It sounds like he maybe needs some extra exercise or some further stimulation during the day as he is possibly getting bored and finding ways to entertain himself, which we all know is not going to be good Do you have any trustworthy neighbours? No chance of quickly popping back during a lunch break?
