No more lamb bones
My OH gave Suki the thigh bone from a lamb she was making curry with and it got lodged in her rear teeth. Suki panicked so my OH thought she was choking and started to perform CPR. Suki wasn't too pleased and was in panic mode. My OH noticed the bone sticking out a bit and managed to remove it so no harm done and Suki is fine. I think we will keep the lamb bones away from her from now on though

Ohhhh poor Suki, hope she is OK now.
I can remember my dog Judy having a piece of bone stuck on a back tooth once, what a panic I managed to get my little fingers in her mouth and pull it off though.

Suki's fine now. I wish I was around when it happened since I'm the family medical expert. My OH went right to the Heimlich maneuver which Suki was none too pleased with before she saw the bit of bone sticking out

Re: No more lamb bones
Ledger is ok with lamb ribs but had a slightly bigger bit of bone as part of the butcher goody bag the other week and bless he had a bit of a struggle pooping the next day, too much bulk of bone I think
He had ribs again last night as I accidentally defrosted 2 days worth of tripe and that resulted in him needing a bit more bone in his diet! We are all good today but Lamb bones are definitely going to be a rare treat as required
