Hey! How often are you taking her out, and what are you cleaning the mess up with?

Therein lies your problem! She needs to go out every 30 minutes at this age and always after food, play and sleep. The baby wipes won't break down the enzymes in her urine, so she's peeing where it smells right to pee. If you can get to pets at home their stain and odour remover works great and smells good too. Otherwise 1 part biological washing powder to 4 parts water.

Another tip; give her a toilet command such as "go for a wee" and always praise once she's been in the right place. If you catch her AFTER she's been indoors just ignore and clean it up. If you catch her in the act just a "no" and then take her out doors and give her the toilet command.

Try straight white vinegar for cleaning it up, that's what I used when I brought my pup home it's cheap and actually works, removes the urine smell completely.

I also done this you'll have her doing her business outside in no time.

I would take my pup out every hour or so & always say "go toily", also straight after food & a big play, in tme the indoor accidents lessen and after 4 weeks he was completely trained. Tonnes of praise when he went, sometimes a treat, & at 5 mths I still praise when I see him going. Good luck Smile

I used pads at first and wished i had not used them. I think it sent Lula mixed messages about doing her business in the house. Once i stop using them and started taking her outside. The accidents happened less and less. If she does have one it normal down to us not getting her outside quick enough. We ignored any accidents and gave lots of praise when she went outside. Even now i still praise when she does anything outside.

We did as Rachel explained and started toilet training Bane outside as soon as he came home. He had newspaper down next to his bed for night time accidents and we cleaned any accidents in the rest of the house with Wilkos pet urine odor remover (turquoise bottle) but recently found white vinegar works a treat! (Bane peed all over our duvet!)

We also put a jingly keyring on the back door, wiggled it when we took him out to wee and said "wee time" or "toilet time" and he soon learnt to jump up and jingle it to let us know he wanted to go out Smile
