Hi all

Im looking for a new harness for Zero and like the look of the julius k9 & doxlock ones, just wondered if anyones used one and how do they rate them
Or if anyone knows a cheaper one in that style, as hes 7mths and growing quick Laughing

But recommendations on a good harness would be great, we've had the puppy leather (but to be honest leather just didnt suit him) also had the ezydog harness but it rubbed quite bad and i borrowed a friends simple step in harness but he looked like he had a bra on Blushing im not into making dogs look tough but i cant walk down the street with the bra look either rolling on the floor so any help would be great

Thank you in advance

I don't use a harness now, but when I first had her I just had a standard padded one from pets at home which could be extended as she grew. Never been keen on anything fancy x

yeah i agree also kaiser pulls tried evrything to stop him but it doesnt work he is too excited to get to the park and woods once were there and on the way back he is fine just getting there he is bad but if i didnt have a harness i wouldnt be able to walking also because he pulls so much i worry about the strain on his throat with a collar

I read some years ago a dog who was pulling wearing a collar and broken his neck i dont know if it was true or someone was making it up just put me off. my xena as a collar but 99% she not on the lead and it just there for crossing the road or panicing owners,

That one looks ok think we'll go for a wonder to the pet shop Big Grin

I use a harness on Mazda as she has a collapsing trachia Sad so under vet rules no collar walking and my grandparents bichon died from the same thing 2yrs ago and it was awful they heard him struggling for breath but it was too late to help him, obviously this scared me so much i would much rather start zero off in a harness (well did from day 1) so it reduces the risk Smile

I've just bought my Roxy ( 5months ) a harness for walking and it's the best decision I made. I just could'nt stand the sounds she made as she pulled, worrying that she was going to do some damage to her throat. She loves her harness and walks really well on it......NO pulling thumbs up
I think it's really a personal choice as to whether u use a collar or harness.
The harness I bought for Roxy is just a basic,no frills step-in harness
