Puppy.. Empty Puppy..

Has anyones puupy ever tried lungin at cars when your walking them on the lead my puppys only just started it..

My previous staffy used to do this .. especially at buses!! .. we made sure he was on a VERY short lead on his normal walks and by traffic etc .. and was on a longer(ish) one at parks etc (not very long as he was dog aggressive.

As said above when your road walking keep her on a short lead. You could try distracting her by taking treats with you and keep her focused on you and not the traffic x

I would get out some tasty treats and start training! Make sure you have control so the pup can't get in any danger and reward the correct behavior (walking properly).. hopefully you can turn it around!

I had a border collie that would chase cars given half a chance! She never went into the road, but would run alongside the car - frighteneing for all concerned! I had to keep her on a short lead at all times when we were near traffic, even though she was trained to Test C obedience.
