The only time Daisy has pork is when she has a pork bone (I get them free sometimes from a friend of a friend who is a butcher) every time she has them she has a really stinky bum! Do you think she may be intolerant to pork or could it just be because its more bone/marabone than normal? Doesn't cause runny poo!

Hmm that's strange that she gets a stinky bum but no runny poo. Have you tried a piece of pork meat instead of the bone to see if the same happens? Smile

Saz, I know pork is a bit richer and fattier than other meats, so it's perhaps that. Maybe you could try giving her a bit at a time off the bone to build up her tolerance to it? I do know it's also a meat you shouldn't give way too often because of it's fattiness, but also that a little bit of pork fat now and then is good for the fur etc Smile

Daisy, no more stinky bums for mum please x

Just an update, Daisy seems fine on pork mince so I don't think she is intolerant!
