Re: first season
I don't think there really is as its just her hormones, I would just keep to a normal routine, give her space if she wants it and cuddles if she needs them xx

Re: first season
Awww bless her
Daisy is a rescue and had her first season just after I got her so couldn't tell how different she was, then of course I had her spayed after that, part of the rescue agreement.

Re: first season
There is so much more to think about though, the only reason to breed should be to improve the breed as a whole, is she KC registered? Do you have any experience with breeding? so many things can go wrong x

Re: first season
No disrespect but she doesn't need to have a litter to fullfill her, just because you've seen the rest of the littler and their spot on doesn't mean you should breed, by the sounds of things, she's not kc registered (forgive if I'm wrong) therefore she won't be health tested. Their are terrible, heartbreaking illnesses that a dog can get because their parents have no health test, please please reconsider breeding her, there are thousands of Staffords in rescues and thousands put to death every year because even if every home in the uk took one there still isn't enough homes.
