terrible
Lexy got hom yesterday around 4pm.from being spayed. She was fine yesterday as she was sleep because of the medicine but ive been up from 6am as she is going absolutely ballistic with ear itch and im afraid.to leave her incase she tears her ear clean off. We had to take off her buster collar as she was getting really unsettled with it on and was afraid of her stitches opening.
Is there anyway we can stop her itching ... she has seemed to try and sleep but her breathing is quite fast and the odd moaning yelp is coming from her
Has anyone else had this problem after spaying?

Re: terrible
They can get itchy after anaesthesia. Is there anything tasty you can try with her like sardines or tuna? If it doesn't calm down I would give the Vet a quick call and see what they suggest

That's good news. All dogs are different with how they react after an op. Lily was really weak and sickly whereas Lola couldn't give a toss!

Moved your post to Staffy Health Issues.
Contact the vet to see if this is a reaction to the meds.
