So Proud :D
Myself and OH took Bruno out for a walk down the bridal track and we met a lady with a jack russell and a staffy called Daisy that she is looking after for a friend, Bruno was quite well behave, just the usual jumping on the other dogs but the staffy didn't mind, just glad he didn't try to hump it as its not been done yet............ then after they went, we continued to walk up the track came to the top and turn right and 2 horses were coming so put bruno on a lead as we didn't know what he would do as he's never seen a horse before, anyway the horses stopped as the owner of one of them wanted to see Bruno
Bruno was so well behaved, he just sat there and looked at the horses, didn't attempt to go and sniff them or anything, so i was really pleased with him

Great stuff! I will always put Moo on lead when it comes to horses I would never want Moo to spook the horse. I think thats really important thing to do, both for you and them. and especially the rider x

The rider was saying that somewhere else where she rides and dog came up and sniff and nipping the horse, and the owner of the dog said what shall I do and the horse owner said well put the dog on the lead would be a good start, so the owner call the dog in a sweet little voice not in a firm voice. Perhaps next time the dog owner will put the dog on the lead.

Way to go Bruno!
Same here, I always put Dempsey on a lead when there are horses around, you never know when one might spook, and there could be a terrible accident.

Horses get really upset when dogs sniff at there back end and have 2 sences fight or flight my older horse would definatly kick out but the youngster is so placid he would just stand there. I once saw a man with his dog and unfortunatly it got killed the horse double barrelled him in the head and killed him instantly but the dog was off lead and in the horses paddock chasing the horse there was nothing the owner could do it was such a shame

Well done Bruno, good boy
Staffords tend to be very good with livestock. As much as their prey instinct is high with small furrys they dont really look at things bigger than them much and want to give chase. My girls have been brought up around horses from tiny pups and are brilliant around them. They lie in my horses field and she sniffs and rubs her face on them and chases them out when shes had enough, they are great with her and ive never seen any nastiness.
