Not particularly Steve! I've had a few adventures around the centre shopping and what not and the OH is always at work so he rarely goes in! I need to get out more but don't know anyone

Re: pheasant
I have tried pheasant and it can be dry if cooked for too long, best cooked in a little olive in a pan on the stove top and leave it to rest for a few minutes before served. A few recipes below. They may be available from the supermarket or ask your butcher:

Re: pheasant
My rule is to try anything once Steve, the only downside round here is the pheasant can have buckshot in it (not good on your teeth) I love food especially game, nice wild boar burgers with chilli & lime are one of my favouritesSteve wrote: jen, god i had an sheltered life

Re: pheasant
Ai had game casserole in a pub not long back, pheasant, rabbit and venison and very nice it was too. I also like trying different meats, crocodile, kangaroo, springbok, ostrich. Fish wise I really like swordfish

Re: pheasant
Good for you Steve, I'm sure you will like it just remember to cook it slow to keep it moist. Most game is low in fat so can spoil easily. Let us know how you get onSteve wrote:i will always try something once even if i don't like it :(i'm going start looking for these meat now
