Favorite roast dinner
I've got the family coming over for a roast on Sunday and I don't know what meat to cook as I'm veggie, what's is your favorite? Chicken, beef, lamb or turkey? They are the main ones aren't they?

I tend to go with pork and crackling as often the joints are on offer but really love beef with yorkshires and horseradish

Re: Favorite roast dinner
Got to be a good quality free range chicken for us, most people like chicken well except my Mum who would never eat it
Neither me nor hubby can stand roast pork, I just hate the smell of the stuff cooking, it makes me feel sick, sorry peeps.
We would have yorkshire puds with it too, and pigs in blankets and stuffing balls not forgetting the cranberry sauce. I am making myslef feel very hungry now, fool

Re: Favorite roast dinner
Most people like chicken, plus you wouldn't have to suffer hearing crunching at the crackling!
We had roast chicken today (rarely get to have one on a Sunday), popped it in the slow cooker, yum

Re: Favorite roast dinner
Ooh now I want roast chicken with mint sauce
Can always see what's on offer at the supermarket/butcher. My butcher does these amazing lean pork loin steaks stuffed with low fat sausage meat and does similar with a chicken breast which is then wrapped in bacon. Both awesome twists for a roast dinner.
The guys at work today have also been raving about the Aldi four bird roast just to confuse you even more
