Grrrrrrr!

Out with a clients chihuahua when I was asked by a guy working for the council what breed he was.. very poiltely I answered and he asked me how much I get paid an hour.. I told him and he proceeded to call me "greedy," I explained that I'd worked hard in kennels for years on minimum wage and it was nice to be finally earning a decent wage after struggling for so long. He then went on to tell me about his dog, a yorkshire terrier, and I replied by telling him about Biscuit. He told me that my dog was a "drug dealers protection dog and should be wiped out," note that I held back on my opinion of his breed. I explained calmly that Staffordshire Bull Terriers are not a guarding breed, and a little about their history, to which he simply replied "nah, that's not true." I just scoffed and started to walk away and he had the cheek to call me rude!! I'm surprised by how astounded I still am by people's ignorance and stupidity.

I wouldn't have given him the time of day either... and he needs to look up the definition of the term "rude" as clearly his comments were far from polite or curtious!!!

Ignorant idiot. You should complain to the council that you don't like being interrogated by their workers about what you earn, then your dog (not even there) insulted! Then called rude!!   
Hope he realised what he said once you walked off.. but doubt it

A little shocked he was rude enough to ask you what you earn. I would of told him to mind his own damn business. You should be proud of yourself for staying calm and in control when dealing with these fool

Luckily I was quite relaxed after an easy walk with little Freddie, I just laughed it off.. but I have SO noticed that people treat me differently when I'm walking my clients toy breeds and labradors than when I'm out with my bull breeds. I'm so used to being blanked that I automatically do it to other people now
