We had loads of rain earlier,then it snowed but didnt settle because the ground is wet.Ive heard its ment to get bad over the weekend though.

It snowed here to but rain afterwards phew.
I have 350 mile trip tomorrow. I have my youngest daughter every 2 years for xmas. The ones I don't have her I stay at my mums for the weekend and giveher an early xmas. Please snow stay off until Monday when im back in Blackburn

I would of done but i was at work and the de icer was in the car lol so i just drove home once i was in and it de iced on my drive home it will be froze again in the morning the neighbours will think im a nutter

We got really bad snow yesterday.I went to birmingham wich wasnt too bad.Got back to coventry,it was a nightmare.Took me over an hour to drive 2 miles Straight Face

we had about 3cm here i think,wich doesnt sound too bad,but there was no grit on the roads wich ended up in total chaos.I saw a few cars that had smashed into things too.

Last week there was no proper road salt to be had so the other half went to Tesco to buy ordinary salt. There was none left! The assistant suggested that he used cat litter. He bought a sack of the stuff and poured it all over the drive. It doesn't bloody well work! and - all that happens is that it gets tracked into the house. Here in Northumberland the snow has gone for the most part and we are left with loads of wet cat litter on the drive that is a bugger to clean up!
