A woman I know had her partners ashes turned into a diamond so I think I would like to that for Ledger or have some of the ashes into ink for a tattoo
My parents second dog Pepsi is in their garden, I dont have a garden at the moment but it wouldn't be an option for me. I don't think I could be buried myself all my family and friends have been cremated and I kinda like the freedom of that the idea of not being tied to one spot

no .. not sad ..
prev. pet was a feline .. he was buried by a small cherry tree
.. visited the house 12 months after leaving ..
and the cherry tree had grown huge and was in full blossom ..
cat used to play by the tree in life .. am sure his spirit be happy ..
as for 'lady' .. don't know if it's illegal or not ..
but plan to bury her in the local woods where she loves to play now
shall send some toys with her .. especially a frizbee ..
( worst fear is that i should go first 'n what will happen to her :-( .. )

Re: For people who sold their house with buried pet in the back garden
Well when my Bradley died at age 17 my Dad thought about this and decided if they ever moved they would be leaving him hence having him cremated on his own, so they can take him wherever they go xxx

My birds were left in my parents' garden when they moved. I think about them quite often.
I don't think I'd want to leave Maddie...

Re: For people who sold their house with buried pet in the back garden
I pity the people that moved into our first house around here as it was/is full of coffins with all our ratty friends. It got so full we ended up havingvthem cremated instead and spread at a pet cemetary. My first two dogs are in the garden at my parents house and my lab is under a tree in the woods where he loved to be. And yeah leaving them all was realy hard so I planted a pear tree in the current garden in there memory. Watching it leaf then blossam and bear fruit then die off each year is a reminder of the cycle of life, quite fitting.

Re: For people who sold their house with buried pet in the back garden
All my pets are buried at my parents' house so it would either be a case of burying Bane there or cremating him I think! Wouldn't be able to leave him behind
