Benny, Staffie, DOB 2004 - Tunbridge Wells HOMED
Benny, Staffie, DOB 2006 - Tunbridge Wells Foster
Homing Requirements: Benny is a reserved Staffie who take a little while to relax but is managing meeting differing walkers and kennel hands. Benny is not for over fussing; older children who would respect him should be fine, but he is not for unsupervised or sustained contact with very young children. He needs his space respecting. Only pet at this stage of assessment.
His Story: Benny was found stray and was microchipped but his original owners were uncontactable. He is learning to settle in kennels and so loves his walks. Benny is neutered, already chipped and vax'd. Currently in boarding kennels near, Surrey.
Advert: Benny Boy ... "What a dude!! I wasn't sure what to expect from this fella but if I get the chance to walk him again then I cannot wait. Have a feeling the sausage I gave him might have helped but got him harnessed easily and we were off. He is a real sprightly little lad with a lot of character and very playful. We got absolutely soaked through so when we got back to the kennel I wasn't sure if he'd be happy with me rubbing a towel all over him but he sat down and gave me his paws to help me dry them". Travels well crated or secured.
Benny is a middle aged brindle Staffie who is in good health. Benny is initially wary but providing people take the time to befriend, put him at his ease and he understands then he settles and is very friendly. Benny isn't overtly licky for a Staffie but responds more to a respectful reference.
Please note that this dog is currently in foster until a 'forever' home is found.
Please visit Benny’s thread on our forum: http://rescueremediesdogrescue.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=313 to find out if he is still available and for fuller details.
If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire as a first step: https://rescueremedies.wufoo.eu/forms/rescue-remedies-homing-questionnaire/ so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

Oh I have fallen in love with Benny, he sounds just like my Pixee did when we first had her, and Benny I would respect and cope with no problem, but Pixee I dont feel would welcome another dog, and hubby wont have another one either. Sorry Benny, hope you find a forever home soon.

Benny boy still needs to find his forever family.
Re: Benny, Staffie, DOB 2004 - Tunbridge Wells HOMED
Benny is still waiting for his forever home.
His fosterer says:
"I don't understand why Benny is still in rescue. In the time he has been here....and it's quite a while now....he's a different dog. He's gentle, always enjoys his walks especially when there are cats or squirrels around, he has a great relationship with his walker and, for an older dog, quickly learns a new routine....currently, I put him into a bedroom upstairs to allow access to the garden through his "normal" room before we all go to bed....within two days he has been bounding up the stairs and settling down on the bed for about half an hour, and then it's back to the dining room where he has a special duvet on the table which he climbs onto by way of a dining chair which has been strategically placed so he can get up in stages!!!
He is such a good boy....I've said repeatedly that he likes his own space, but that doesn't detract in any way from his friendly character or his willingness to please."
