Kobi, Staffie, DOB 28.06.11 - Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Homing Requirements: Kobi needs stability and investment, offering him quality time and opportuities to mature. He is proven with babies and toddlers. Kobi has lived with 2 other dogs for the past 7 months. Kobi is off lead with good recall but has a passion for stealing footballs!
His Story: Taken in by a young family with 2 dogs at the age of 5 months having lived in a flat. His garden wasn't secure and he kept going 'walkabout' and the dog warden called us having picked him up again, with the family not having time for him with no inclination to secure their garden and with the 4th child on the way. The dog warden was concerned for his safety and that he could possibly cause a major car accident crossing a major road. We took Kobi in as an emergency. We have neutered, chipped and begun vaccinations. He is under weight. Currently in temporary fostered in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Advert: Kobi is an all round superstar! Kobi has been highly socialised, mixed successfully with 2 live in dogs and 3, 7 month - 3 year old children. However, Kobi hasn't had any individual input and needs further training to achieve road sense and manners when others are playing ball ... he is a ball thief! Kobi is housetrained and obedient to basic rules e.g. not going on the furniture. He needs a high quality diet with a build up focus as he is currently under weight. He isn't destructive, but will puncture his precious football on 'gain'. Easily jumps a 4' fence in pursuit of fun!
Kobi is a blue Staffie who has had 2 owners and now finds himself in Rescue having no proof of basic care. He is 1 year old and has just been neutered, vaccinated and chipped by us. He is on a high quality diet to support his health; though he looks a little ragged, he is well. We are looking for a family who can capitalise on his proven child and dog record but can also now offer him what he needs: a caring forever home.
