HOMED - Lady, Staffie X, DOB 08 - Tunbridge Wells
Lady, Staffie X, DOB 08 - Tunbridge Wells
Homing requirements: Lady needs a family who have dog experience to support her improving dog socialisation outside. Lady has lived with a male dog and could do so in the future. Lady is proven with young children. Not for cats or small furries. Lady needs secure 6' panel fencing to assure her security and awareness around exits as with any home.
Her Story: Lady's family reported her as "found" but later confessed they couldn't cope and provide for her any longer. The dog warden ended up taking Lady and her companion dog, an entire male Staffie into Rescue. Broken hearted the Dog warden called us in tears with Lady having been bred from and just discarded. We agreed to be there for her. Lady is now in foster in a multi-dog household and has settled to all the trials and tribulations involved. Lady will be spayed before homing but we are leaving it as long as we can this side of her season. Lady is chipped, vax'd and fostered in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Advert: Lady has an abundance of love to give to her people and children alike. She can initially be a little perturbed with swift intros with other dogs but has learned to settle with dogs outside meeting and greeting most outside with a smile. A little grumble, rare but just indicated as a lack of comfortabilty and 'we move on'. For this reason we need dog experienced owners to 'read her' and ensure she isn't pushed beyond her comfort zone which is expanding with time. Housetraining is good with attention.
Lady is a Staffie cross with a dark brindle coat which doesn't show its true beauty on camera and coupled with the fact that Lady is a little camera shy ... be prepared to be ‘wowed’ on meeting. A little shy sums Lady up as her instincts are for a quieter life. She can be left, a little whimpering and she settles, bless. Lady she has moved all our hearts. So pleased she is with us and going to find an adoring family.

John, Lady's fosterer, popped into the kennels on Saturday with Lady and Barney just as we were leaving so dad took two quick pics of her before we left.
Is it me or is that her Labrador & Staffie look? Whatever it is she looks pretty majestic and regal!

Lady sporting a very lovely collar which was a Christmas gift from an admirer and friend. Just the right colour for her and I hope adds to her beauty. Roll on your home Lady ... where are you?!
