Just wanted to share that Bruno has not messed in the house during the day and the time up to bed since monday night Think we maybe on the way to cracking toliet training at last, he now asks to go out and if he's sniff the ground, i say to him wee wees and he goes to the back door, never thought this time would come

I knew it would click into place! Feels like your never going to get there and one day they understand you and do piddle in the house (unless they get desperate!!). Perserverance and patience definately pay off with dogs

That's so great to hear, I so think we have to be alert to what our own 4 legged ones are telling us. We've recently moved to a new house and my 14 yr old (who is going seriously deaf and blind) suddenly got up & headed off to the laundry tonight and had my hubby vocally wondering if she'd lost her sense of direction. Straight away, I was like "she needs to go outside", and he says "yeh, but she went into the laundry". Well hello.... , unless you are going to clean up the mess that is about to occur on the floor, you might want to take in exactly what she is trying to tell you. I always consider any sudden awakenings as a suggestion that a toilet stop is imperative, you can't always make them pee on cue as much as we'd like them to.
