introducing Bruno hello 2 all
hi guys i'm new to this website and need some advice on my 4 month old staffy pup, for some reason he will not poop in the garden or on his puppy pads but prefers to use his crate or the floor he will use his pads to pee on which is good but still wont go toilet outside i'm at a loss what to do, he is on 3 meals a day his last meal is at 6pm and he goes for a walk 30mins- 1 hour after he eats but will wait till he gets back home to go to the toilet i have tried longer walks, putting his poo in the garden to show him where to go but still no luck can anyone give me advice.
he is due to start puppy classes at the end of this week but need advice now!
many thanx xx

Hiya from me and Vinnie, it is all about persistence if you keep taking him out when you see him mooting or circling and just looking for the signs. http://staffy-bull-terrier.com/toilet_training_your_staffie

Hello and welcome from me and Pixee. You will get there with time and patient. Have you tried putting the pads outside and teach him toilet? Or rub some of the scene off the pads on the grass?

hia from me and sasha ,if he is using pads to go toilet on you could try and move them closer to the door every day,he'll get there just give him time to get the hang of it and lots of praise too

Hi from us and Bane!
Is it almost instantly when you get home that he goes? If so it might be worth following him around for a bit to wait until you notice him acting suspicious then whip him outside quick. They soon pick it up

Hi from me and Nico, perseverance I'm afraid! Initially I had to wait Nico out..... Take him out when you know he needs to go then just refuse to take him back in until he's done it, loads of high value treats when he goes in the right place as well.
