Re: rough play = scars and bleeding (pics)
by being consistent with her if she go over the top you tell her off if she carrys on you place her in an naughty spot till your happy she been punish enough that how i train my dogs, my billy drags my sam around by his skin never leave mark like that-
Re: rough play = scars and bleeding (pics)
it only happens when they're out and playing off the lead so i wont be able to use the naughty spot they dont do it in the house just when they're out running around and also she doesnt do it to any other dog just him

Re: rough play = scars and bleeding (pics)
Great advise above - we spend ages supervising ours and a good, strong "enough!" now does the trick when they get over excited during play. They've learnt it's unacceptable and just don't let it get that far, or rather, we don't ever let it get too far. The "enough" came with consistency and patience. Good luck!

Re: rough play = scars and bleeding (pics)
The enough works for us too but in a different manner, we only have darcy but I allow rough play and a firm enough gets her attension and she stops so perhaps that could help too, poor sheen, have you any sudocrem to put on it?

Good advice above. Our 2 used to do this in the house when they were little - Lola would pull Chloe round by her cheek - ouch!! It has stopped as they've got older. They 'air-snap' at each other now but not the really rough stuff.

Re: rough play = scars and bleeding (pics)
yip got to agree ott when we first got phoebe she used to go straight for beaus face in play but like others have said but in my case like others it was the words enough or if she didn't then no and a bit of patients. beau took a lot from her at first but he did start to tell her off usually by grabbing her by her ear and pinning her to the ground or just trailing her by her ear along the ground
