Re: puppy allergies
I feed a completely raw diet which helped my itchy boy. He stills gets itchy though and like you we wipe him down, give him antihistamines when necessary and also have an anti-itch type of shampoo the vet gave us. I also supplement their diet with items like honey, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, olive oil and oily fish which all help too.

Re: puppy allergies
I'd strongly recommend adding a teaspoon of coconut oil/apple cider to his food - it helps a lot! I know we get Hills food over here but I don't know much about it - sure someone will be along soon to comment!

Re: puppy allergies
It's very sad seeing them itchy and distressed. Do you know if your pup has any food intolerances/allergies?

Lots of luck! Remember to do food changes gradually and not in one go

Re: puppy allergies
Banes used to have itches when I first got him. I read on here somewhere about offering coconut oil, i give a heaped teaspoon every other day, he seems fine now.

Re: puppy allergies
If you have an itchy dog, i would not recommend ANY of the hills foods, as they are full of grains and fillers, despite what vets tell you. A big no no when trying to pin point what the problem is.
I'd either feed a full raw diet or grain free kibble, with adding coconut oil

Re: puppy allergies
Have you had a skin scrape at the vets to check for mites? If he had them frontline would not get rid of them x
