Burglar picked the wrong house...!
It was late night and my parents were in bed when they heard the door alarm go... cue Bella and Bubba (dobermann and bull mastiff cross) going berserk. Dad came straight downstairs to find the dogs guarding the open front door with the front garden gate open. After my dad came down Bell was on patrol and wouldn't leave his side
Bet he had to change his underwear when he got home. Hate hate hate burglars.
Please everybody be alert, lots of burglaries at the moment due to Christmas.
So proud of my parents dogs Love them to bits.

Well done Bella and Bubba, its a horrid feeling its happened twice to me but alas at a time I had no dogs. I bet they bricked themselves. Glad no harm was done

Good good doggies! You can't beat a Dobermann as a guard dog, even though they make a lot of unnecessary noise, you can tell when they really mean business.

Hehe very true Lynda. I'd love to get another one eventually but two is good for now. Always felt incredibly safe when out walking Bell. Molly and Watson wouldn't be quite so effective! We were out walking recently and saw a strange looking man - Molly nearly walked into the hedgerow she was trying so hard to get away from him!! When I walk Bell she will always put herself in-between me and the danger.

This is something I always fear, should it ever happen to us I hope it's when we are out with Rocky, couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to him while we are not here.

Re: Burglar picked the wrong house...!
Kathy I completely agree, Molly and Watson are not guard dogs and I hate the thought of anybody coming in if they were in alone.
Definitely put us all on edge a little

Well done doggies, wasn't so sure about Ledger as he is always very welcoming but noticed lately he barks when I answer the door to people so maybe he knows the difference between who has and hasn't been invited
