Re: Weight
As long as she is fit and healthy I shouldn't worry, Vin was 24 last time he was weighed

No she isn't fat, has good quality raw meat and is walked twice a day. Yep she is just a big girl , is a solid lump of pure muscle

Re: Weight
Glad there are some other heavies out there. Douglas was 21.6 kg last time he was weighed and I realise that's a bit hefty for the regular breed (which he isnt anyway). Heavy good, porky bad.

Re: Weight
As said so long as she is fit and healthy these are the main things. Are you able to easily feel her ribs ?

Re: Weight
She looks like a big girl, but healthy too! Biscuit was 23 at one point, but is now 21 and just right for me, though could put on more and still look healthy!

Re: Weight
These are some big dogs. I thought breed standard weights for Staffs were much lower. I recall numbers around 14kg for bitches and around 18kg for dogs off the top of my head. I'm just curious as to whether these weights have changed or am way off the mark?

Thank you for the clarification. These weights are almost double, KC will have to add another breed at this rate!

I'm relieved now, was starting to worry that Tommy wasn't growing properly after reading these posts. He's 14 months and weighs 17kg.

Kuchar weighs just over 21kg. If he conformed to breed standard he'd be transparent!

Re: Weight
Come to think of it now it has been mentioned, the staffys I see around my area are all on the large size, I very rarely see a small staffy .

Re: Weight
Lola's only 15kg, around breed standard, but with the size of most staff's you see i've always thought she was on the small side haha
