Why a chain one? They're really hard on the hands!

Try a lead rein for a horse instead, they tend to be stronger and would be a lot better on your hands if you need to grab it quickly

Re: can any one help me,im after a gold/brass chain lead
We've used both chain with leather handle (leather wears thin and starts to split) and we now use a rope lead.
Try training walking to heal with a halter harness like I see he has already

search on ebay: tintuklimited2009. getting a staffie soon and have been looking for suitable strong harness/collar/lead. the leads are 30''s long with leather handle and comes with matching leather collar. quite a few different colours available too.. looks like a great buy and very reasonably priced, worth a look i think hope this helped!

Re: can any one help me,im after a gold/brass chain lead
They do plain leather too (Maz had red, Zero baby blue) I found them strong ONLY prob I found was Zero's white bit turned a slight blue after the collar got wet but it came off easy, but even the leather and brass one he has on atm dyes his neck and that was over £30 so think its just leather sometimes.
I was gonna buy a baby blue "staffie" collar their only about £7.50 but ended up getting a fleecy "staffie" collar as it was unique
