In the freezer ready for Christmas lunch I now have my veggies; carrots and broccoli and after today I have the stuffing balls in there too. Just sausages in bacon to go now.

I prep the veg and parboil it before freezing this keeps the colour nice and fresh. The stuffing balls I part baked today, I just mix 2 good quality sausages in with it (take the skins off first) roll into balls then place in those little foil trays you can get with the cardboard lids. Christmas morning they come out of the freezer and straight into the oven. Job done Smile

Thanks, yes it is. When you are very limited on space you have to be thinking ahead.

I have already got Christmas lunch all planned and timed and written down what needs to be done when, with all the timings for everything. I just start at what time we want to sit down and eat (usually 1pm) then just works backwards from there.

Everything's done on Christmas day here! My hubby peels the spuds & veg, and then I do everything else. It'[s just down to routine, really - plus of course I have a few Babychams to help it all along!Laughing

We usually go to my sister's house. We cook the meat usually beef and turkey and take it to her house. She does everything else, it works well as it takes a lot of the stress out of the cooking. biggrin

Kathy, you are more than welcome I have an open house policy Christmas day and boxing day, I have home made cider and ale, wine from a local vineyard (yes welsh wine) and I made mead from my honey this year as well.

The aga is always hot if you fancy a cuppa or something to eat, I have baked savoury and sweet today (200 mince pies, 60 ginger bread men ,200 sausage rolls, 50 scotch eggs 50 mini pork pies and 6,5lb pies with different fillings).

With help from Marley of course
