Hi all
Sorry if that topic was on here already.
Can I add a little bit of raw meat to debo's dry food? Is there a risk of Debo not wanting his dry food?

A small amount yes but from reading here it digests at different rates. Sardines are always a nice thing for a treat Xx

I wouldn't add it to the dry. Raw meat takes about 5 or 6 hours to digest whereas dry takes about 10-12 hours to digest. The difference in digestion could upset his stomach. You could try giving raw as a treat, but that wouldn't make his dry food any more interesting.

As Janey says, you can add a couple of sardines in oil or tomato sauce to his dry food, or even drop a raw egg on the top. They're both ok!

Yeah anything like that will be fine Smile Maybe try a chicken wing or thigh to start with, crunching the bones is god for their teeth.

If he isn't used to crunching small bones, you may need to hold the end of a chicken wing while he learns to chew it properly.
