dog meat vs dry food
Hi, I need some advice on feeding for miley.
We made the mistake (well maybe) of using wainwrights dog meat to accompany her biscuits from time to time, as well as we sometimes give her meat or fish. However now she will never eat simply biscuits?? we have tried various different types, she also used to love biscuits with gravy or stock but that wont entice her either. She will actually pick out the biscuits most of the time and just eat the meat around it.
Is there a way to get her back on just biscuits, we have tried just feeding her that and seeing if she gets hungry will eat it but she just wont eat lol!!
any advice is appreciated.

Re: dog meat vs dry food
I can't advise too much on dry food, really, as Dempsey eats raw & I've fed raw to the last 3 dogs I've had.
Have you tried Fish4dogs? I've heard it's good, and a change may be all she needs.
Unfortunately, a lot of dogs don't like going back to dry once they've tasted the real stuff!

if all that is avallible to the dog is dry food they may not eat for a day or so but if you stick withit they will eat it as a staffy will not starve itself so really you just need to persavere and dont give in to them as thats what there hoping you will do

I agree with Wazza. Blue was a fussy eater when I first got him and he was settling in, so I was worrying loads about him eating. But like Wazza said they won't starve themselves, they will soon get back into the routine of eating their new food.
I will treat Blue to cooked skinless chicken and pasta every 2 weeks. He will eat a bath full of that if he was allowed to

my adults do the same, when i run out of the meat i use, fussy eaters don't win in my house, the will eat when they are hungry you can leave it until the next day i wont do any harm or you could mix a small mortion of biscuits with hot water wait for them to go soggy and cool then add it to the dry food, its all about smell rather than taste with dogs and adding hot water gives the biscuits a good smell, don't add water the whole amount of food though it will give them diarrhea
