Bloody winter clothes shopping!

You know something's not right when tights cost more than boots.  I refuse to spend a silly amount of money (£12) on a pair of thick tights, no matter how good they are. So I've given up on the tights/leggings and am focusing on boots instead. I'll look again once the winter madness dash has worn off and the prices have dropped.

Just wear last years  

Last year's came in the form of steel toe-capped walking boots and are history. Only used to wear those because I didn't fancy getting toe stomped by angry animals.

Exactly! As far as I'm concerned, if tights cost more than £2, I'm not touching them.

Primark

If I can't find a reasonable price online, I'll probably check Primark next time I'm in town. I prefer not to use Primark shoes though, as they're not always very strong.

Wellllp, I've found some reasonably priced Scottish boots! Fur-lined, so they're warm, waterproof, sturdy and not too clunky. They look good for walking in snow as well.

I'm a bit of a budget freak, by the look of it! I hate spending more than a tenner on any clothing/shoes.

Too thin I checked through Tesco earlier and saw a couple that I liked (the knitted and argyle tights) but they're just a bit too expensive for my liking.

S'all good I've bought the boots already, so I won't be doing any more shopping for a little while. Even in the sales, most tights are pricey right now. The ones that are cheap are very often quick to fall apart anyway.
