new clothes
We went to a pet show today and of course spoilt the kids. For Roxy's 18 month birthday tomorrow they'll each get a pigs ear and new rope toy. We also got them one of those "find the treat" educational puzzles and they love it. They've figured it out but there are different settings and it tired them right out. Got a couple of different shape and size tyre/rope toys to tug on and.... new clothes! Check out their harnesses - they are amazing. We took them for a long walk this afternoon with them and not one bit of pulling or tugging - our arms don't feel right:lol:
The harnesses have a couple of sections that are reflective!
We also met one of Vinny's uncles, Pluto, at the show

Apparently they're from Denmark and by far the sturdiest we've come across (we don't get the Ezy range here). Seems they are used for guide dogs (they had the attachment handles) and also police dogs. http://www.julius-k9.com/
Usually after a couple hour's walk on the long leads our arms are knackered, but today we didn't feel one pull! And the kids seemed super chuffed and comfortable. I noticed you can get little side bags to attach too which might come in handy one day.
I like the idea of the handles on top for those times when off-lead dogs accost us and we can grab hold calmly and ask the kids to sit.
Thanks for the compliments all

Just checked and yes we can get them here and seen the little pockets so may be a 1 to thing about for next time , still thinking about the ezydog backpack harness for Tommy as the bigger dog , just over 2 months time and he will be 18 months so can think about some stuff like that for him

Re: new clothes
We have one of the Julius K9 harnesses for Rocky, they are well made and great, however he did find a way out of it. We use the EzyDog one now which isn't so easy for him to get out of although I'm sure not impossible.
We got his online from Amazon and was around the £30 mark.
