New clothes! :D

We went back to the big shopping centre today. No ponies this time, but it was still nice to sit down with some coffee and muffins.

I got a onesie, some slippers and a dress Dempsey went absolutely insane when I put on the onesie, jumping about, trying to eat the drawstring bobbles and attacking my slippers!

We also bought Dempsey two new toys from the big pet shop! A Kong Wobbler and an interactive treat toy, where he has to push the wheels around to open compartments for treats. He loves the Wobbler, even though it surprised him at first when he pushed it and it swung back and bonked him on the nose! The interactive toy was really surprising! He actually worked it out in less than ten seconds! His nose is too big to get solid food out of the compartments, so we're going to use small amounts of soft foods (peanut butter, soft dog food, mushed up carrot, cheese spread, etc.) to smear on the insides of the trays so that he can lick them.

Very fun day!

Yeah, Dempsey's very happy with his new toys. Ever since I started buying him toys to keep him occupied, he's been following me around like a little lost lamb and wagging his tail.

Sounds like a great outing! I got the kids one of those interactive toys and they also figured it out pretty quickly, but it has a turny lever type thing on the bottom to tighten it and make it slightly more difficult to twist and open. I used little tiny bits of biscuit treats but I love your idea of smearing something inside to lick!

Vinny's so food motivated that he goes mental for it and we've had to put it back together a few times, or hold it down while he's playing! Roxy looooves the mental stimulation so she gets a serious look of concentration while spinning and opening the compartments.

Yay new onesie! As for interactive toys Moo just picks them and shakes them and breaks them, takes less than 10secs, I am always quite impressed  

Yeah, I'm going to try the toy properly tomorrow! So far, these are the ideas for what to put inside:

Peanut butter
Butter
Wet dog food
Brie cheese
Finely grated carrot
Jam
Yoghurt

Only small smearings of each one, as I don't want to upset his tummy, but just enough to get his brain working!

Tbh, I was expecting Dempsey just to chomp on the toy, but he was surprisingly smart!

Nah, I'm not worried! The photo's been taken, but it's on mum's phone and I can't be bothered to switch it over just yet. The wifi in my room is terrible, so I have to wait until later on when I'm in the living room to upload it anyway.

Rocky has a kong wobbler too and had a very similar reaction when he first tried it

The Wobbler is quite funny to watch! Not sure Dempsey knew what was going on!

This made me laugh, I love chilling in my pjs and slippers and have quite a lot of pairs of slippers and slipper socks, that DID have drawstring bobbles, not so much now, daisy goes mad for them and has pulled them all off!!
